"I guess not," Nikolai sighed. "Speak English," he told the cat. Ek gave him that very serious look cats gave people when thy bought they were stupid.

Megan nodded and she looked at Ek. She saw him give the serious look to Nikola.

Nikolai shrugged. "I give up. Cats are impossible. I don't know why I keep you." Ek jumped up and rubbed against Nikolai flicking his tail in his face.

"Of course, suck up to me now When you've gone and made yourself fall." Ek turned about rubbing against the boy's chest swiping his tail in the other's face. He then sat in his lap in the very back with his head held high looking up the way cats did when they wanted to look like good little angels.

Megan decide to turn in her wolf form. She sat down looking at both of them.

Ek looked at Megan and shook his head. It was a gesture that essentially said, "Not you too."
Nikolai grinned, put Ek beside him and shifted into his wolf form. It had been a while since he had been a wolf, so he was a little out of shape for it.

Nikolai barked a greeting as a wolf now. Ek jumped on his back and laid there staring over his head.

Ek was certainly much stranger than Tina was, which said a lot since Tina was nowhere near normal. The sibling cats were so similar and yet so very different. How it confused him so. Ek slowed and finally fell to the floor between them too tire to jump anymore.
