Ek made a sort of yawn and closed his eyes there. He let himself go a little slack as he began to fall asleep in that position.
Nikolai wondered how cats could be in such strange positions comfortably. "He certainly likes you."

Megan nodded. "I have never seen a cat sleep like this before." She said. Megan never knew a cat could sleep like this. She had seen cats curl up before or sleep on a person's lap.

Nikolai shook his head. "Neither have I," he added. Not once had he seen any cat, including Ek or Tina sit on a person as such nevertheless fall asleep on them. Now, he had seen Ek fall asleep in a similiar position on the banester of the stairs, but that was a little different.

Megan nodded again. She looked at Ek to see that he had fallen asleep. She chuckled to herself. "Looks like he fell to sleep." She said.

Ek rolled and little, stopped, lost his balance and fall into her lap awakening with a loud new and startled eyes.
Nikolai sighed at the poor cat

Megan looked at Ek and felt bad for him that he fell. "Are you okay?" She asked the cat as she petted him. Of course, She forgot that she couldn't understand cat language.

Ek stared out before him with wide eyes then up at Megan. He took in a deep breath then closed the lids slightly and sighed. He shook his head in a sort of nod and curled within her lap.
"He looks fine to me," Nikolai commented.

Megan looked at Ek. She could tell he wasn't ok because she saw his wide eyes. "Yea." She said, as she contuied to pet Ek.

Ek stayed curled in her lap despite what his want to jump up and claw Nikolai in the face.
Nikolai looked upon the cat she called his and wondered about it. He had never thought of Ek as his cat, though I guess that could work. The cats were sort of his.

Megan contuied to pet Ek. She didn't know what to do or talk about. She was being her queit self again like she was sometimes.

Ek opened one eye that glared at Nikolai. He gave an impatient new and jerked his head towards Megan.
Nikolai did not understand. "Silly cat, I do not speak your language."
Ek sighed and rolled his eyes then looked up at Megan hoping maybe she would get it.

Megan studied the meow and looked at him. She had heard of this meow before and thought about it. "I think he gave a impatient meow." She said. She hoped she got it right.

Ek grinned then glared at Nikolai and jerked his head at Megan once more.
"Alright, so he's an impatient, cat, what's the jerk mean?"
