Kara nodded at his suggestions. "The window seats are lovely." she had always liked the window seats- er any seats by the wall. There were several reasons: one, she could stare outside when bored; two, lean against wall; three, lean against wall and sleep; four, be more comfortable; and a million more reasons she was too tires to remember. She made her way to the two seats and sat in one hoping he would not mind. She placed her stuff down and yawned. No more staying up at night. Bad, bad insomnia.

Kane sat in the other seat. He placed his other books under the desk and then leaned back against the seat. He did lean back in his seat a lot. It was much better then sitting straight. When he sat straight, It bugged him for some reason. He never knew why. His parnets would tell him to sit stright all the time. Least he didn't have to worry about the teacher telling him to sit stright.

Kara yawned feeling more of the aftermath of her lack of sleep from the night before. A wave of unnecessary despair and intoxicating gloominess swept over her and her eyelids began to drop. Of course, it was now school now she was falling asleep; no, she could not possibly sleep at nigh when she had laid in her bed for hours doing nothing but thrashing from side to side. She would have been happy if something at least could keep her busy within the many hours she could not will herself to rest within. She tried to read, but no book would do; write, but no thoughts came to her; watch television, but nothing satisfied her. Nothin ever could satisfy her anymore. At some point between sitting down and then, she had rested her elbow on the desk and her head on her hand, though when that was, she did not know. At some point that and the yawn, her elbow began slipping from it's what you would assume firm position. Her elbow slipped off the edge and her head crashed to the desk in a sickening thud.

Kane looked at the teacher. He was bored and math was a boring class to him. He tapped his pencil on the desk over and over again. It was something he would do when he was bored. He wanted to leave the class, But he couldn't. He had to be stuck in math class. Kane sighed as he kept on tapping the pencil on the desk still. What was there to do instead of listening to the teacher? He could draw, But then he forgot his notebook paper. There goes one idea. He couldn't think of any more. His attetioned turned to hear a thud next to him. He looked over to see that Kara had falling asleep. He didn't know what to do. Should he wake her up? He sat there not knowing what to do. Kane didn't know what she would do if he did wake her up. Well... He didn't want her to get in trouble. He poked her hopeing she would wake up. He didn't want her to get in trouble by the teacher.

Kara had nodded off a little as she had sat there thinking of what to do so that she did not nod off; so much good that did for her. As her head slammed down on the table, her whole body shook and her body jerked up just as he poked her. Her eyes were wide as she stared out whatever happened to be in front of her as her brain tried to process what was going on. As she looked around the classroom, she was glad that only several students were looking at her. It was when she saw Kane as one of them that she blushed. Her chin throbbed from the fall, and her hand came up to rub it. She smiled nervously at the boy who looked a little distressed, no doubt her fault. She looked at the teacher, who amazingly had not noticed, and her grin died a little and her expression became one that pretty much said she was hopeless. Outfit: Casual # 1
