She was not so sure if she was embarrassed or annoyed or even a little ticked at herself for being such an idiot towards this guy she had known for maybe five minutes or so and did this a lot when she was tired- that was it. She was so tired that day that she was not thinking straight and she was running into things. Like walls. And did not have her backpack to save her because it flung off. And was still on the floor. Kara's eyes shifted towards the floor and found her backpack several feet off. "Oh jeez," she whined as she bent down to pick it up. She slung it over her shoulder and stood straighter. "Yeah, that would be a great idea leaving here." another nervous laugh, a nervous smile.

Kane watched her picked up the back pack. He guessed he had missed about the back pack on the floor. " I once left my back pack on the floor. What class do you have first?" He asked. He wonderd if she had the same class as he did. It would be cool of they had all the same classes. The last class of the day was guitar lessons which he was happy to be in. He loved music. Kane mostly listened to 80's music and some of the new music today. One of his favorite bands was Thousands foot krutch.

Kara could not help but chuckle at what he said; leaving a backpack on the floor was not the smartest of ideas. Then again, lots of things were really not the smartest ideas. Like not sleeping the night before, almost running into things that morning, running into things that morning, falling all over the guy on accident. She was just not having a terribly great day was she? "Hey, don't leave your backpack on the floor. The last time I did, some dude tossed it in the trash and I had to dig it out of the trash with all of this awful smelling...bile or something.." She shook at the thought of it. "I could not get the smell to leave for weeks." She picked up her backpack and smelled it. "No, it is still there. Darn." She shook head head and sighed. She had to think about it. It was a very slow morning and knowing these things- er remembering them anyway- was difficult. "I- uh- have first period algebra II," she answered pretty sure that was the answer.

Kane nodded. "That wasn't really nice that a guy put your back pack in the garbage. Someone put paint all over my sport car." He said. Someone once sprayed his Shelby GT 500. His car had a black body with dark grey stripes. His car could talk too which sounded strange to some people. Then he wonderd if some kid put something in the spray can because his car didn't smell to good. He had to get his car repainted and then wash it. He nodded when she told him the class she had. He took his schedule out of his pocket and looked at it. "I have the same class too." He said.

Kara shook her head. "No, it wasn't that nice at all. Fishing it out wasn't nice either. Finding it was not fun, and living through laughing stock for the rest of the week sucked too." she sighed as she shuddered off the memory. She gasped. "You have a Shelby?!" she asked in awe. "They did that to a Shelby?! That's not cool!" Kara's jaw dropped and she shook her head frantically. How dare someone do that to such a pretty car. She grinned. "Hey, we have the same class," she said with a wide smile. "You get to put up with me some more today." she laughed a little.

Kane nodded. He was a Shelby fan and his parnets gave it to him. Should he tell her that his car could talk? If so would she believe him? Mostly people didn't believe him that he had a talking car. Some of they would say "I have never heard of a talking car before so I don't believe you." Well, It was worth a try to tell her. His stomach started to hurt because he was scared to tell her for some reason. "My car can talk." Kane said. Should he tell her his car's name? He didn't need to. Kitt could if she wanted to meet him. "Your a really cool girl." He said. He didn't mind haveing the same class as her.

((Sorry for my awful and slow posts. I am soooooo tired))
Her hand flew up to her mouth and she yawned terribly loud. Her eyes widened and she had a sudden moment of panic; Kara did not wish him to feel that she was boring him, which he certainly was not. It would be awful if he thought she meant that; she could come out as a complete jerk if that happened. Not that looking like a complete jerk was the most important thing, but still, it would be rude. "Yeah, sometimes, I think that the things talk to me, too. I talk to them anyway." Now she sounded like a freak who heard voices. Great. She looked at him a little taken aback by the compliment. "Seriously? You, the guy I just met, thinks I am really cool and yet, people I have known since kindergarten think I am a complete klutz-idiot-creep-thing." She sighed. At least she may live through first period then.

"Yea." Kane sighed. See he was that person who didn't really hate anyone. He just didn't like people who were rude to him. He had been made fun of his whole life and still sometimes is now. Usually they make fun of him for his music, But he didn't care. Kane ingorned people who made fun him. He liked the music he liked. The one thing Kane most hates was rap. He just couldn't stand it and it didn't make sense to him. He was the rock and roll kid.
((It's okay))

Kara grinned at him. It was very nice to have someone there who was not a complete loser or told her she was a complete loser. Or talked to too much. That was obviously her job. Oh how she hated when she did that so. It did not matter though, this guy was cool and did not seem to mind having to put up with her every morning for the next while. Oh, how she felt so very sorry for him especially when she had restless nights. With her insomnia, that was most nights. The poor boy. Interupting her thoughts, the bell rang and she instinctively looked at the clock. "Ten minutes," she said speaking of the time they had to go to their lockers and get to their first period. "Then we begin our day."

Kane nodded. He had forgotten his book in his locker and he had to check on his guitar. Someone could have stole it. "I still have to get my books." He said. How could he had forgotten his books. It was the first thing you needed for school. He wondered what they were going to do in math today. He wasn't very good at math and wasn't a math person. Math was boring for him. It was full of hard problems which sometimes he didn't understand. Maybe because he didn't do his math homework all the time. Yea, That could be it. No wonder why his parents yell at him for doing bad in math. Kane probably had a D or F in his class. There was no way that he had a A, B, or C.

Kara placed her backpack firmly over both shoulders and nodded affirmatively as he told of that which he needed. "Of course, we should go get those books of yours. No need to fail already," she teased playfully. She looked towards the hallway her locker would be down then stopped to wonder what grade he was in. Were they the same age? Were they in the same grade? Wow, that was not something she considered before. "Where's your locker?" She asked thinking about their ages. Well, they both had Algebra II which meant they could not be more than a year or two apart if any at all.

Kane chuckled. "Yea." He said. His locker wasn't that far. "Follow me." He said to her. His locker was next his guitar class. The locker he had before was in the wrost spot ever. He couldn't get to it before because the hall was packed with kids walking down the hall or people were standing infront of his locker talking to each other. He would have to tell them to move everyday. Kane didn't have to worry about people standing infront of his locket now. No one really walked down the hall where his locker was. He could also show her his guitar.

Kara followed obediantly and wishing that it would take a little time; she had all that she needed and did not wish to be one of the first people in class as she was most years. She followed him down to the locker and was a little surprised where it was; not many lockers were actually in use near there especially by the classrooms. Maybe he had asked for this specific one earlier. Now that she thought about it, that was a really smart idea. If she had done that, she would not have had a really awful spot as she did everyyear. "Did you choose where you wanted your locker to be?" She asked wondering aloud.

"Yep." Kane said. He opened his locker and looked around it for his books. His books were next each like at the Libary. It was much easier for him. He spotted his math book and took it out. His guitar was still in his locker so that was good. "Do you want to see my guitar?" He asked her. He saw his music folder was next to his guitar. I thought I left it at home. Kane thought to himself. Well, He did forget his school stuff at home at home sometimes.

Kara did not really mean to be spying in on his stuff in the locker or anything, she just found that if you brought someone over to your locker, opened it up for everyone to see, and was rummaging around in it while the other person was there, it would not be the other person's fault that she happened to see everything was going on inside. With this logic in mind, she did not feel that she was being inappropriate or anything. "You play guitar?" She asked thought to Kara, it made perfect sense. He had chosen where his locker would be and there it was right beside the classroom where the guitar lessons were held. Of course. "That is cool. I have not been blessed with any musical abilities." It was true; she was pretty awful at any musical instrument she picked up.
