Tom smiled back once again. He found a flower and picked it. "For you." He said, as he gave her the flower.
Blue cams back and sat down. She was bored and had nothing to do.

Xan yawned just a little out of boredom. He was not sure what to do. He was a little confused on all that had happened as well; that seemed to happen to him frequently for reasons not even he knew. Ah well, he would live and go on and hopefully understand what was going on in the future.

Xan walked about in search of something out of the ordinary. Something was bound to be out there waiting for them to find it, and he intended on doing so.

Blue notice that Xan had left and she started to walk. She scanned the area looking for objects.

Blue stopped for a sceond when she saw something on ths ground. She walked over to it. It was shiny and she tilted her head some. She had never seen anything like it before. What was it?

Xan, in his exlporation, made his way near Blue though not meaning to.

Blue nudge the object so she could see what was on the front of it. It looked like a compass. She picked the object and turned around. She saw Xan. "I found something." She said, as she set the object down.

Xan looked up from his search and peered over at her. After they had found the other things, he could only assume more would be left. When Bluehad found the name, or so they believed, he knew there was more out there somewhere. As she announced her discoveries, he thought he would leap over there in seconds, but managed to bring himself down to a slower speed. He stopped what he was doing then turned to walk over to her. He examined the object. "What have you found?" He asked as he looked at it.

Blue took another looked at it. "I think it's a compass." She said.

Xan looked at it further. Indeed, it looked quite like a compass. Now, he had not seen one in person before, but he had heard tales of the strange devices and had listened intently on their many appearances in case he may come across one of these marvels. Never did he believe he would ever actually see one. "A compass that shows direction. I have always wondered how such an amazing thing should work."

"Me too." Blue said. What did it do? She moved it with her paw a bit and saw the arrow move around. It stopped at N. "I think N means north." She said.

Xan watched the little arrow move in confusion. "It points to the N , clearly meaning North of the four directions." He touched it with his paw. "It will always point there. Strange."

"Yea. " Blue said. What if they moved it the other way? Will it stay the same or go to a driffent direction? She didn't know. "I wonder what will happen if we put it the other way." She said.
